On the issue of ontological availability of digital educational resources and their standardization in EdTech
Abstract
The article deals with issues related to the standardization of the representation of educational resources in EdTech. Questions of compatibility of digital educational courses at the level of semantic and ontological combination of them become very actual. The reason for this is the speed of change in the composition of educational courses, which, in fact, are the accumulated educational ontological knowledge. Digital educational data formats not only provide solutions to some of the interoperability challenges, but also prove to be crucial in terms of the availability of knowledge and addressing the digital divide. The IEEE is the world leader in the standardization of educational processes in the digital environment, and its ontological standards for metadata in digital education are discussed in this paper. The paper also focuses on EU projects in the field of open education. The last section of the article is devoted to how to technically present educational content on websites. In particular, the variants of educational content presentation in HTML and PDF formats are compared.
