In this article, we would like to stay at the myths that are often associated with the concept of the digital economy. We consider the question of profitability in the digital economy, the role of information and communication technologies in the digital economy (an important but not the main), issues of disappearance and appearance of jobs in the digital economy, as well as the structural changes associated with the digital economy. In practical terms, the use of the incredible opportunities of the digital economy is not similar in appearance to what it was before. It is, therefore, essential to moving forward to understand the purpose of this motion and see the direction changes.
