The app economy – the state, the standards and the fight against digital exclusion
Abstract
This article is devoted to the topic of the app economy. This is one of the interesting aspects of the digital economy. It applications provide economically vital services to both individuals and legal entities, bring enormous income and decide the previously unsolved problems. The use of large amounts of data and the availability of large computational resources and large amounts of memory and a large number of sensors or devices of the Internet of Things, coupled with mobile broadband on smartphones, gave rise to a new industry of creating apps or the app economy. The development of the app economy, its relationship with traditional services and its regulation are addressed in this work.
