Detection of bot programs that mimic the behavior of people in the social network "Vkontakte"
Abstract
The paper is devoted to the detection of bot programs that simulate people’s behavior in social network «Vkontakte». During the research, we identified the types of social bots, types of their use, as well as the relevance of their detection. This article describes methods of protection against social bots, presents existing system software for bots recognition, as well as the identifying criteria to facilitate the recognition bot profiles in the social network «Vkontakte».
