Automation of accounting of scientific and educational-methodical activities of a teacher

Abstract


With the digitalization of higher education, there is an urgent need to automate internal processes related to accounting for the scientific and educational activities of teachers. Manual data collection, the use of disparate tables and paper media lead to errors, duplication of information, and significant time costs in reporting. This article presents the design and implementation of an information system (IS) for accounting for teacher activities on the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform. The system is designed for the centralized storage, processing, and analysis of data on publications, grants, training courses, methodological developments, patents, participation in competitions, and collaboration with students. The developed IS is structured into subsystems: scientific activity, educational and methodological activity, work with students, and continuing education programs. The system architecture, the structure of the database based on reference books and information registers, the implemented input forms, and the mechanisms for generating reports using the Data Layout Scheme are described. Particular attention is paid to the automatic calculation of conventional printed sheets and support for links to electronic resources. The advantages of implementing the system are demonstrated: increased reporting accuracy and reliability, reduced document preparation time, and improved control and analytics. The developed solution has been implemented at the NGIUE Department of Information Systems and Technology and can be recommended for use at other educational institutions to effectively manage research and teaching activities.
