Abstract

The article discusses the main features of expert systems, as well as their areas of application. Together with agricultural producers, the authors analyzed the process of choosing an irrigation method in an agricultural enterprise without the use of an expert system and with its use. Based on the analysis, “as is” and “as it should be” models for this process were presented in EPS notation. It has been established that the use of such a system greatly simplifies the decision-making procedure, and also allows you to significantly save on consultations with experts. In the course of the study, a table was compiled of the dependences of the choice of irrigation method on any conditions. The possibilities of a free public shell for creating Expert 2.0 expert systems are described, which is offered as the main tool for creating and visually displaying the data obtained during the consultation. The possibility of creating and implementing such a system in agricultural enterprises is substantiated.
