Automatic Detection and Estimation of Color Discrepancies in S3D Using Confidence Maps

We propose a new confidence-map-based algorithm, which automatically detects the frames containing the color discrepancy between two views of a stereoscopic video, which uses the confidence maps. The use of confidence maps makes it possible to detect the unreliable disparity values and therefore leads to an improvement in the number of false positives produced by our approach. The detailed method analysis, confirming its effectiveness is provided in the end
of the paper.
