Abstract

One of the properties of the digital economy is the convergence of technologies from one industry to another. Often such transformations change the essence of any industry we are familiar with, or greatly modify it. In connection with the movement of Russia towards building a digital economy, the experience of how it happens in other countries is extremely important. In this paper, we consider the transformation of digitalization in the example of Great Britain. The significance and application of foresight are also examined in detail and on specific examples. The paper substantiates the conclusion that for Russia, which is in the geographical position between almost all the centers of new production and on the new Silk Road, the priority development of conditions for digital logistics and supply chains is quite natural.
