Review on the Performance of Non-Cooperative Spectrum Sensing Based on Energy Detection
Abstract
In cognitive radio, spectrum sensing is an emerging technology to exploit the underutilized spectrum so as to overcome the problem of spectrum scarcity. One of the important spectrum sensing technique is energy detection. This paper studies the performance of energy detection based on non-cooperative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio over Rayleigh fading channel with additive white Gaussian noise. The simulation results show that the probability of detection increases with the increase of probability of false alarm, and signal to noise ratio
