Digital Railroad - an innovative standards and their role on the example of the UK
Abstract
In this article, we discuss issues related to a digital railway project. We are talking about the standards related to the development of this project. As a basic example, we use the project of the digital railway in the UK. The aim of the standards is to ensure the most cost-effective, efficient and consistent means of implementation of railway systems while ensuring the absolute safety of the railway. The paper discusses the need for railway standards, existing levels of standards, commitment to ensuring the application of their model, the ratio of European and British standards. The article gives examples of the standards for digital railways.
